Founded in 1997, BandTogether was a group of just 10 members. Today, the band and color guard has grown to well over 100 members. The band offers four free concerts a year and can also be seen at area pride celebrations and other special events. The color guard performs with the band in the pride parade and also at two concerts each season. The organization is an all-volunteer community band and provides an opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual, straight and transgendered musicians to perform and have fun in a relaxed, friendly environment. The group does not hold auditions and welcomes anyone over the age of 18 to bring his or her talent to the band or color guard.
