Saint Charles Riverfront Arts Launches Free Adult Artists Workshop Series
Saint Charles Riverfront Arts' inaugural "Adult Artists Workshop" series begins Wednesday, July 25 and runs through Wednesday, August 29, 2012.

This FREE "Adult Artists Workshop" series is open to all adults 18+ years and older who currently reside in St. Charles County, Missouri.

Art education graduates from the Lindenwood University School of Fine and Performing Arts will conduct the "Adult Artists Workshop" program, guiding participants in drawing and watercolor painting through small groups based on interest and ability levels in a welcoming and non-threatening environment. The "Adult Artists Workshop" series will also feature occasional technique demonstrations by professional "working" artists.

This special six-week arts program for adults is free to the public, but the not-for-profit Saint Charles Riverfront Arts organization will gladly accept tax-deductible donations to ensure the availability of future arts education programs for the St. Charles community. The workshop is limited to the first 40 students, and registration is first come, first served.

The "Adult Artists Workshop" series is made possible by a generous grant from the Arts & Culture Commission for the City of St. Charles, Missouri.

Additional details about the "Adult Artists Workshop" series are available at saintcharlesriverfrontarts.com.

The mission of Saint Charles Riverfront Arts is to create and nourish an arts district that enriches the spirit and promotes the development and appreciation of the visual and performing arts. The organization provides cultural and educational activities to enhance the artistic quality of the community at large, and is a non-profit charitable organization approved by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt under Section 501(c)3.
