Erin Bode, David Halen & The Musicians Of The Innsbrook Institute - Live On Sunday, June 17 At The Foundry Art Centre
Accomplished St. Louis songstress Erin Bode, and Concertmaster of the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra David Halen, are brought together once again on the Foundry Art Centre stage for an unforgettable evening of the best music from the "Great American Songbook". |
The performance will include selections from Rogers and Hammerstein, Jerome Kern, Irving Berlin, and Frank Loesser, among others.
Accompanying Bode and Halen with string and wind instrumentation are the talented Innsbrook Institute musicians.
Since 2001, the Innsbrook Institute immerses both youth and adult musicians in the highest level of classical music instruction and performance for one week each summer. Sunday's performance is a culmination of the hard work and practice these musicians have dedicated to perfecting their instrumental skills.

The Foundry Art Centre is a fine arts gallery overlooking the Missouri River at 520 North Main Center, in the Frenchtown district of Historic St. Charles. The Foundry features a Smithsonian-caliber art gallery hosting national juried exhibitions plus 20 working artist studios where visitors can watch the creative process and buy art directly from the artists. The non-profit art centre also provides community meeting rooms, event space and a children's art gallery. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday 10 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday noon to 4 pm. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
