New Research Answers Questions On How To Increase Charitable Giving And Investing By Wealthy Women
Is it a surprise that men and women are different in how and when they contribute to a non-profit? Is it true that American women collectively control $14 Trillion in assets? On Monday, November 14, 2011 at 6pm at the Denver Athletic Club, Kathleen Lenover will host an event premiering recent research on the needs of Wealthy Women. Through a series of personal interviews, primary and secondary research, Kathleen has uncovered what charitable organizations need to know to ensure they are the beneficiaries of this group’s charitable giving.

Women who have accumulated between $1 million and $20 million during their lifetimes have a unique perspective on how they want to use their wealth to leave a legacy. The research shows that women give based upon an emotional connection to the cause and where the non-profit is attuned to the same values they feel. However, these women also understand that traditional conservative wealth management leads to its preservation.

American women collectively control $14 Trillion in assets. This is by far the largest consumer group in the world. The majority of these women have created their own wealth and do not feel guilty or that they need to justify their wealth.

The economy of recent years has been unsteady and Wealthy Woman women are processing the fact in their own unique way. No matter how much wealth they have, they feel there’s not enough. Men will feel confident even when there’s NOT enough but fear is more prevalent in women. When addressing this fear, organizations working with wealthy women need to ensure they are heard and understood.

The evening’s event will be attended by prominent wealthy women in the Denver area as well as prominent leaders for many non-profit organizations. The event will explore the results of this research and its impact on the social, economic and spiritual needs of Wealthy Women.

The White Paper, "What Women Want", will be published under independent label and is available through the media contact below.
