Description: Almost Home provides a safe transitional home and support for homeless teenage mothers and their children. Our teen mothers live in our family-style home for two years or more, and then our aftercare program follows the teens for another eight years. We help the young women learn to become self-sufficient through a structured, individualized program of education completion, life skills classes, positive parenting training and counseling services. Case management is tailored to each teen's personal needs and goals, with the ultimate goal of compete independence and responsible parenthood.
