Description: In 1977, Father Paul Sheridan created a program to address the needs of children whose potential was threatened by shattered neighborhoods, distressed families, under-performing schools and other factors beyond their control. Our residential program recreates the supportive family dynamic that all children need. Committed professionals provide the care that gives them the security and stability they need to excel. And a network of carefully screened and trained volunteer tutors and mentors provide the support they'll need to excel in the classroom and life. From day one, our scholars are taught that college is not a daydream. It is a concrete destination.
