How can you pass up the opportunity to be a Frog?! Finn the Frog is the mascot for the Children's Garden. Finn appears at special public and private events both on and off Garden grounds. Finn provides kids with a fun character to connect with the Garden.
Time commitment varies; weekend and evening hours possible. This is a sporadic volunteer opportunity; you will be called when requests for Finn's presence are received.
Requirements: 1) The ability to actively interact with visitors…without being able to speak! 2) Wear a costume that often gets quite warm and is a bit awkward to maneuver in (Finn "helpers" are usually scheduled to be Finn's eyes and ears); 3) Due to costume size, Finn volunteers must be under 5' 7". One-hour training will prepare you to be Finn, the Children's Garden Mascot! This is a unique opportunity to promote the Garden in a way that provides joy to our youngest visitors.
