Help Mothers!

Organization: Mother to Mother Address: 7225 Manchester Road, Floor 2, Maplewood, Missouri 63143 Job Title: Community Outreach for New Moms Focus Areas: Women Duration: Part-Time Ongoing Details: Our mission is to support and encourage women who are experiencing emotional difficulties during pregnancy or the postpartum.

We help bring back the harmony and peace in their lives so that this can truly be a wonderful and happy time!

As a community outreach volunteer, you will:

* Help the St. Louis community understand the issues that new moms face in dealing with postpartum adjustment disorder (a stronger version of the "baby blues") and how an organization like Mother to Mother can provide free assistance to new moms in coping with it.
* Distribute brochures to physician office, hospitals and other organizations.
* Conduct presentations about Mother to Mother at local organizations.
* Help work at events such as Parents as Teachers workshops and conferences.
